1. The conditioning regimen of Filipino boxers specifically from the Phillippines must be improved.

        How many times have we seen talented Filipino boxers be given opportunities to display their skills or fight a ‘known’ fighter only to fall short at the end due to their poor conditioning. Most of the time, the conditioning can be attributed to the work ethic of the fighter; but when it’s consistently a problem and not attributed to just one boxer, then the conditioning regimen must be evaluated.

        Losing to an opponent because he was better or more skilled might be easier to accept than losing due to poor conditioning. These young Filipino boxers have had to sacrifice a lot of things, which include being away from their families and should be given the best preparation before their bouts.

Ana Julaton ends the year by getting her third belt. Julaton has been studying the Martial art of Bok fu for almost a decade and after three attempts at this very difficult exam (1st attempt in 2007, 2nd attempt in 2008 which caused her a torn meniscus injury) she finally achieved one of the most difficult Martial Arts test in the World December 21st

ANA JULATON BLACK BELT EXAM OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Despite having already picked up two World Championship belts in 2009, Ana Julaton is vying for her third one next week. No it's not another boxing championship, but rather a Black Belt in Bok Fu. If you didn't already know, the "Hurricane" has been training in Bok Fu since February of 2000. Monday Dec. 21st at 10a.m., Julaton will aim to pick up the much coveted Black Belt at the West Wind Bok Fu Academy which is located at 1551 University Avenue in Berkeley, Calif.

Fans and supporters are welcomed to attend and the exam will begin at 10 a.m. it is a rare opportunity to see our two time World Boxing Champion in a Different arena of fighting. Ana has been training in the Bok Fu system of fighting since February of the year 2000.

Here is the video report done by ABS-CBN news team of the Historic victory of Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton December 4th 2009. Julaton became the 1st Filipina American female to ever earn the WBO World Championship.

This is Ana Julaton's 2nd world title in less than 3 months. In the interview Julaton goes on to say she would like to have a break through the Holidays and she would like to unify another World Championship at 122lbs. Ana Julaton is quickly becoming the face of Women's boxing World Wide.
